RussiaxReader- Stars on the Road ~Request~

Everyone rushed out of the house to the (TARDIS) blue sports car that awaited outside. Finally after so long you would be able to make the trip to you dear old grandmothers house. You, your sister Briana, and your housemate Ivan loaded everything into the trunk of the (Kiku) Honda and then moved forward to find seats. You and Ivan sat in the back while Briana filled the drivers seat. She insisted Ivan sit in the front but he politely declined. He wanted to sit with you.

Although your she didn't know, you and him were kind of together. Your mother worked in Canada and your sister, being an astronomer, was always at her observator. Until Ivan moved in you lived all alone so the two of you ended up becoming close. Very close.

By the time you had gotten on the road it was already 9:00 p.m. The trip would be seven hours long. Unfortunately the radio wasn't in working condition. Briana drove in silence with the music of her ipod blasting in her ears. you and Ivan tried to keep yourselves entertained. You played a few games, listened to music, and had random conversations about this and that. About two hours later the both of you were bored to tears. The vehicle happened to have a skylight. In your boredom you threw your head back and looked out into the night.

Boy were you amazed.

    Living in the city you couldn't really see the stars because of all the lights. Here on the dark highway you could see millions shining bright (like a Doitsu). Your eyes sparkled with wonder and delight at the sight of the far away balls of gas. “Ivan, look!” you exclaimed as you tugged at his sleeve. He followed your gaze to the lights. “Aren’t they beautiful? Now I see why Bri wants to study them so much.” you said as you searched the heavens. In seconds your hand shot up to point out Orion. “That was the first constellation I learned, it’s my favorite.” Memories of nights in your childhood spent stargazing filled your head. You hadn’t realized that you spaced out until Ivan called your name. Your head snapped up to look at him, “Huh? Sorry, I didn’t hear what you constellation- I mean said!” You mentally facepalmed. Sh*t, now he’s going to think I'ma total idiot! Ivan simple chuckled and then messed up your hair. “It’s okay Sunflower, I just wanted to show you my favorite.” He moved his finger, making imaginary lines between a few stars. “You see it, da?” The shape he had made was that of a sunflower. Six stars in the middle surrounded one at the very center. You nodded and then pointed it out. “That one at the center is the brightest thing I've ever seen”

“I’ve seen something brighter than that.”

“Really? What?”

“Your eyes”

He looked into your (e/c) orbs and gave you a loving smile. He leaned in to kiss you.

Then a siren blared.

    He jerked his head away just before your sister turned to look behind her. Upon seeing Highway Patrol she cursed and removed her earbuds. The vehicle had reached a construction zone right outside a small town. As to not hold up traffic, she moved out of the area before pulling over on a small side street. She opened up the window to speak to the cop. Apparently one of the backlights wasn’t working. Once Briana and the officer left the car you looked back up at the sky. The lights of the town blocked out this stars and it was as if they disappeared. You let out a yawn. “You’re tired, da?” the ever caring Ivan asked. You nodded in response and then unbuckled your seat belt to move to the middle seat next to Ivan. After you were once again buckled in, he put his arm around you and pulled you close. Your tired head rested against his chest and you nuzzled his lovingly. “I love you (f/n)” he whispered. With what little consciousness you had left, you lifted your head and kissed his nose “I love you too Ivan” With that, you snuggled into his side and fell asleep, a smile plastered on your face the entire time.

Briana approached the car. The officer had only given her a warning. being the protective sister she was, she checked the back to make sure you are okay as she came up. What she say was you cuddling up next to Ivan. Aww, they grow up so fast! Looks like baby sis is in love! Then she remembered.

You guys live in the same house.

At night.
